Jazz trio coming to Newton

Allan Holdsworth, Jimmy Haslip and Virgil Donati to play on March 14 NEWTON — Often regarded as one of the most innovative and prominent guitar players in the business, Allan Holdsworth is joined by bassist and founding member of the Yellowjackets, Jimmy Haslip, and current Planet X drummer Virgil Donati, for an innovative night of music at the Newton Theatre. The trio performs a unique blend of jazz and rock that complements each performer and gives the audience an unrivaled musical experience. They are joined by opening acts Marbin and local favorite's the Mike Lawlor Trio. Individual tickets for the show are on sale now, all seats are $25.
