Jefferson Community Players hold auditions

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — The Jefferson Community Players will hold open casting and membership for their 2006-2007 season on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Senior Center, 54 Schoolhouse Road in the Milton/Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township. The Players have scheduled a variety of activities for the coming months, including performances of one-act plays, a holiday production in December, dramatized play readings, a dinner theatre production, acting workshops for beginners and experienced actors and a playwrights’ contest. Suggestions for other activities are welcome. Membership in the Players is free and open to all. Volunteers will be needed for these productions and beginners as well as those with theatrical experience are welcome to learn and participate in all aspects of stagecraft.
