Jefferson Community Players offer dinner-theater outing

    Jefferson — The Jefferson Community Players will hold a spaghetti dinner and present “The Tangled Snarl,” a film noir comedy, on May 5, with dinner served at 7 p.m. The Community Lodge at Camp Jefferson, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, will be the venue for the evening. The dinner menu consists of spaghetti with marinara sauce, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert, soda, coffee and tea. No alcoholic beverages are permitted. “The Tangled Snarl,” directed by Thom Florio, features Craig Moore as private detective Spuds Idaho, who finds that life in L.A. is a 24-hour race around a track of quicksand. With the aid of his secretary, Ginny, and a wise cracking kid, it all untangles for Spuds Idaho. Members of the cast include Tania Kallish, Christine Klecka, Vania Sousa and Jerry Gajda. Seating is limited and tickets are $15 by reservation, only. Reservations can be made until April 27 by calling Jean Simonson at 973-663-3340.
