Jefferson Players seek director for ‘Sound of Music' production

    Jefferson - The newly reorganized Jefferson Community Players will present a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music this summer and is now seeking a director for the production. Anyone interested in the position should send a letter of intent with a resume to Robert Brown, chairman of the Jefferson Community Players board of directors, at 14 Starlight Rd., Oak Ridge, NJ 07438, no later than Feb. 27. The board will review all submissions and schedule interviews. Once a director is chosen, plans will be made to set audition dates. The show is scheduled to be performed on Friday evening, July 28, with matinee and evening performances on Saturday, July 29, and evening performances on Friday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 5, in the auditorium of the Jefferson High School on Weldon Road .
