Littell Community Center announces new programs

FRANKLIN—The Littell Community Center, Franklin/Hardyston’s joint recreation facility has several new programs beginning in September. A new aim at Youth Activities includes a sports and recreation “Fundamentals of Sports” program for children ages 3-5, Grades K-2 and 3-5, focusing on basics, fundamentals and fun. An “Arts and Leisure” program including crafts for ages 3-5 and grades 1-3; and beginner crochet and quilting for 4-6 graders. There are also new bridge and chess clubs. Regular programs such as the senior movie bunch, happy walker group and book club continue with added days. The center is located at 10-12 Munsonhurst Road. All are welcome and invited to the center’s open house on Saturday, September 9th from 1-3 p.m. The open house will feature a clown, face painting, balloons, hot dogs, sport and craft activities for the kids.
