Little River Band comes to the Newton Theatre

NEWTON —With worldwide album sales topping the 30-million mark, and having the distinction of being the first band to have top-ten hits for six consecutive years, the Little River Band has become a force to be reckoned with. The group, originally formed in Australia in 1975, is now made up of band members Wayne Nelson, Greg Hind, Chris Marion, Rich Herring and Mel Watts. In America, the band had huge success with the singles "Reminiscing," "Lady," "Happy Anniversary," "Help Is on Its Way," "Cool Change," "Lonesome Loser," and "Man On Your Mind." The Little River Band will be performing at The Newton Theatre on Friday, March 9, at 8 p.m. Individual tickets for the show are on sale now.
