SUSSEX COUNTY — Local musicians will volunteer their talents on Sunday, September 25, at "Music Heals" — a benefit concert to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The event will be held at the Hillside Park Hall, 150 Lake Iliff Road in Andover, NJ, beginning at 11 a.m. and running until approximately 11 p.m. The day's lineup will feature local artists such as Brady Rymer, Jake Stigers, Patrick Fitzsimmons, Denny Tilton, Robert Matarazzo, Laurie Cagno, Jack Tannehill, and "The Wankers" (4 original members of From Good Homes n Brady Rymer, Patrick Fitzsimmons, Dan Myers and Jamie Coan). More special guests are to be announced. Additional information on the benefit concert can be found at www.lizapalooza.com/MusicHeals.htm. All proceeds of the day's event will be donated to the American Red Cross, Sussex County Chapter in Newton. Donation canisters from the American Red Cross will also be available. Donations of goods for Katrina victims will also be accepted on behalf of Norwestcap, a satellite agency of Second Harvest. Norwestcap is asking for bottled water, granola bars, energy bars, breakfast bars, beef jerky, peanut butter in plastic containers, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, bleach, sanitizing cleaning items, diapers, baby food, baby formula; and in cans: hearty soups, stews, chili and pasta. Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Advance tickets are available at All in One Video in Franklin, Greene's Beans Café in both Sparta and Hackettstown, The Grist Mill Café in Andover and Andre's Restaurant in Newton.
