Local author publishes book on ferrets

Vernon — Writer and illlustrator Mollie Carson-Vollath has written a book aimed at animal lovers of all ages. "Terrence O'Ferret" is the story of a shy young girl who discovers ferrets, how she manages to get one and the adventures they have together. Carson-Vollath of Vernon says her own love of ferrets shines through the work, which is illustrated with photos and artwork. "Terrence O’Ferret" is available on Amazon.com in both paperback and Kindle editions. A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to Father Nature’s Ferret Rescue.
