    NYC comedy comes to the Newton Theatre NEWTON — The third installment of the Big Apple Comedy Club, featuring NYC comedians, is coming to Newton on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 8 p.m. The January comedy show features Brad Zimmerman, who has the distinction of opening for both George Carlin and Joan Rivers; Cory Kahaney, who appeared on the first season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and has been featured on the Late Show with David Letterman and The Joy Behar Show; Buddy Fitzpatrick, a regular on Comedy Central with appearances on ABC and A&E; and Sherry Davey, the official mom on NBC’s iVillage website Momtourage.com and who has been seen regularly on shows The Funniest Mom in America and Premium Blend. Individual tickets for the show are on sale now and cost $25 for orchestra seats and $20 for balcony seats. The box office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Newton Theatre was founded in 1924. Its mission is to return the theatre to its original splendor and serve as Sussex County’s largest full-time Performing Arts Center.
