The annual Miss Sparta contest will be held on June 23 at the Lake Mohawk Country Club. Contestants will be judged on essay writing, community and school involvement, personality, and appearance. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at Sparta Books and Ailish's Alpine Paint Centre.
