More than 50 artists featured

The 20th annual Skylands Juried Art Show and Sale attracted more than 50 artists from the tri-state area. The reception and awards presentation was held Saturday, April 21, at the gallery at Sussex County Community College. The reception was sponsored by Tricia and Andy Wallace and catered by On Call Catering. Spring House Restaurant and Tavern provided the champagne. Jurors of the work were Erika Jaeger-Smith, associate curator of exhibitions at the James A. Michener Art Museum; Jimmy Clark, executive director of Peters Valley Craft Center; Al Zerries, a painter; and Joan Ross, watercolorist. Guitarist Glenn Zervas provided music for the reception. Chairing the event were Linda Hirsch, Sean Holzki and Jennie Traill Schaeffer. Volunteers for the reception were Martin Chapkosky, Susan G. Hammon, Alice Harrison, Robert Heimall, Grace Hoffman and Valerie Ellen Magro.
