Museum to exhibit Cropsey prints

    WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Heritage Committee will be hosting an exhibit of nine Jasper F. Cropsey prints, to be put on permanent display at the West Milford Museum. Cropsey was a leading artist of the Hudson River School of the mid-19th century. The prints, all of which picture the West Milford area in the 19th century were donated from the private collection of originals by the Newington-Cropsey Foundation, and will be displayed at the West Milford Museum for the first time. The exhibit will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2 from 12 to 4 p.m. The West Milford Museum is located at 1477 Union Valley Road, West Milford, New Jersey 07480. Admission, as always to the museum, is free. Refreshments will be served, and live music has been engaged as accompaniment.
