Nancy Virbila's art is featured at Lake Mohawk Drue Chryst Gallery

Lake Mohawk - New works by award winning artist, Nancy Virbila are featured at the Drue Chryst Gallery, 21 White Deer Plaza, Lake Mohawk. Her collages are comprised of hand-made, decorative, printed or painted papers cut into shapes and adhered to a prepared surface, each with a specific theme. Drawn or painted areas may be added after the composition is established. Virbila earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in art and design from Centenary College. She has received numerous awards for her work which has appeared in exhibitions throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina, including the Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, Mass, Franklin Square Art Center, Southport, N.C. and Wilmington Art Association, Wilmington, N.C. Her work is published in the book “Collage Art,” by Jennifer Atkinson Gallery hours are 12 to 5 p.m. during the week, with extended hours on weekends.
