New artist at the Drue Chryst Gallery

Lake Mohawk — The Drue Chryst Gallery has annoucned the recent acquisition of original oil paintings by the distinguished, impressionist painter Colin Campbell Cooper (1856-1937). Cooper earned an international reputation with his depictions of landscapes, florals, portraits, gardens, interiors and figures. He was especially noted for his achievements with street scenes and skyscrapers of New York and Philadelphia. The gallery has stocked a number of Manhattan street scenes from the early 1900’s.
