Parents' night out

Sparta - After a week of having the kids home from school some parents might be ready for a little R&R. So, Sparta United Methodist Church is offering a Parents’ Night Out as a free gift to the community on Friday, April 13. Parents can take advantage of a calm, relaxing night out without the expense of a babysitter. Children will be closely supervised by adults and assisted by experienced teenage babysitters. Drop off time is 6:30 p.m., and pickup is no later than 11 p.m. sharp. Children ages 3 years to 4th grade are welcome, and children older than 4th grade may come as helpers. Children may wear their pajamas, and bring a sleeping bag and a game or a book. Everyone must be pre-registered; space is limited. Permission slips are on the church website, www.spartaumc.org or by calling the church office at 973-729-7773. The number of children accepted will be limited to ensure the safety of your children, and the church will be locked during this event. Please bring a picture ID when picking up your children. A snack will be served and age appropriate movies will be shown.
