Patrick Fitzsimmons to sing at Stanhope House

Stanhope - Singer/songwriter Patrick Fitzsimmons will perform at the Stanhope House in Stanhope at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 3. He will be accompanied by an ensemble made up of cello, violin, percussion, keyboard and upright bass. The performance will celebrate the release of his fourth CD, “Live 2005 The Birthday Shows,” recorded live in New Jersey in November. It is Fitzsimmons’ first live CD. Fitzsimmons, who has been called “one of the most captivating songwriters out there today” by Relix Magazine, has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in acoustic music, including Ellis Paul, Cliff Eberhardt, Steve Forbert, Lucy Kaplansky and Roger McGuinn. Originally from New Jersey, Fitzsimmons was signed to RCA Records with the folk-rock band From Good Homes in the late 90s. Later he moved to Vermont and started a solo career.
