Peters Valley Workshop catalog is available online
Layton The latest Peters Valley Workshop catalog is now online. Find out about all the summer courses offered in each of their eight studios: blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, fine metals, weaving, woodworking, photography and special topics. Special Topics’ covers a vast selection techniques, ranging from marionette-making and drawing to painting in oils and cake sculpture. Registration for Peters Valley members is currently open. Workshops fill quickly so don’t delay! New on the Peters Valley Web site this year, visitors may now browse workshops by date, as well as by studio. Be sure to explore the ever-popular Beginners Weekend, May 19 and 20. It’s a chance for the novice to see what Peters Valley has to offer, allowing the creative person to get their feet wet, among others who are also new to the technique. Peters Valley Craft Center is located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area near Layton. Throughout the summer, Peters Valley provides two- to five-day workshops, in all craft media. The store and gallery are open year round and feature fine crafts and art items from over 300 artists.
