Presentation and book signing with Craig Yoe slated at Sussex College

Newton Sussex County Community College is pleased to present Arf author and artist Craig Yoe on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 10:50 a.m. in the Sussex Bank Theater. Early in his career, Craig Yoe was Senior Designer for toy think-tank Marvin Glass & Associates, where he worked on toys like Cabbage Patch Kids and My Little Pony. He was recruited by Jim Henson to be Creative Director and later VP/General Manager of the Muppets, working on everything from TV shows to theme parks. After Henson’s death, Craig partnered with Clizia Gussoni and YOE! Studio! was created. Arf is a groundbreaking series of books exploring the unholy marriage of art and comics in a stunning array of rare masterpieces. The most recent book in the series, Modern Arf, encompasses a rich treasure trove of images spanning 1836 to the present. This presentation is for the art lover and comic buff, alike. The presentation is free for students with an ID card and $3 for the community. Please call 973-300-2232 for more information.
