Presentation and book signing with Craig Yoe slated at Sussex College

Newton — Sussex County Community College is pleased to present Arf author and artist Craig Yoe on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 10:50 a.m. in the Sussex Bank Theater. Early in his career, Craig Yoe was Senior Designer for toy think-tank Marvin Glass & Associates, where he worked on toys like Cabbage Patch Kids and My Little Pony. He was recruited by Jim Henson to be Creative Director and later VP/General Manager of the Muppets, working on everything from TV shows to theme parks. After Henson’s death, Craig partnered with Clizia Gussoni and YOE! Studio! was created. Arf is a groundbreaking series of books exploring the unholy marriage of art and comics in a stunning array of rare masterpieces. The most recent book in the series, Modern Arf, encompasses a rich treasure trove of images spanning 1836 to the present. This presentation is for the art lover and comic buff, alike.
