Lafayette — The Lafayette Township School PTO has announced plans for its annual Tricky Tray, to be held Friday, April 27, at the Wallkill Valley Regional High School. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the drawing is set to begin at 8. Once again, the schools cafeteria and hall area will be filled with trays and drawings will be conducted in the comfortable auditorium. Trays will be grouped and tickets will be sold in various categories. A few of the larger prizes offered this year will include an outdoor awning and wicker set; BBQ grill and outdoor tables and chairs; recliner with a TV; TV stand; DVD player; jewelry pieces; Yankees tickets; and American Girl Dolls. The members of the PTO have been working on a hand pieced, hand stitched quilt that will be offered as one of our Mega Specials. Net proceeds from this event are put towards enhancing Lafayette elementary student’s educational experience. The majority of last year’s monies went towards purchasing a Smart Board for our teachers, building an outdoor pavilion for our teachers and students to enjoy during school hours as well as for after school activities, and offering a lot of “extras” to our students and teachers. Pizza and beverages will be available; complimentary snacks are provided. No one under 18 admitted. Wallkill Valley Regional High School is located on Grumm Rd. in Hardyston.
