SCCC to hold antiques and treasures show

Sussex County - In the belief that someone’s something old can be someone else’s something new, Sussex County Community College is holding it’s fifth Antiques and Treasures show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14. The show and sale will be held in the college’s E-Building. Many antique dealers will be on site showing and selling their wares. Appraisers will also be on hand to put a price tag on that old doll that belonged to your grandmother and other items of indeterminate age. Cost of appraisals is $5 per item and, categories include: jewelry, watches, porcelain, pottery, toys/dolls, china, furniture, vintage clothing, and general antiques. Admission is free and food will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation at SCCC. The snow date is Jan. 21. For more information, call 973-300-2104.
