Singles group to hold whale-watching weekend in Cape Cod

    Sussex County — SAMI, which stands for single, active, mature individuals, is going on a whale-watching in Cape Cod. All are invited to join the fun as a single or double. This is an adults-only trip and reservations are required now. Details for the June 8-10 trip include a luxury coach trip departing from Mt. Arlington; a buffet breakfast on departure day; a two-night accommodations at the historic Provincetown Inn, two three-hour whale-watching trips (Saturday and Sunday); a wine and cheese welcome reception; a New England Lobster bake on Saturday night; and two expanded Continental breakfasts. There will also be ample free time to enjoy the restaurants, museums, historic buildings and entertainment in Provincetown, with shuttle service into town running every 20 minutes. Total cost for the trip is $313 double occupancy or $392 single occupancy. A $100 deposit to reserve a space are now being accepted. Deposits are fully refundable up to May 8, at which point all balances are due. The trip is open to the public, so non-members are welcome. Since the whales feed at that time of year, it could be a good time to view them. It is important to get all reservations confirmed early and there are only about 20 spots left.
