Skylands Select exhibit moves to 9 Moran Street Gallery

Newton n The award-winning pieces from the Skylands 20th Annual Juried Art Show and Sale will be shown in the 9 Moran Street Gallery from Saturday, April 28 through Saturday, May 19. The featured artists are Tim Gaydos, 1st Place, The Patrick-Claus Award, $1000 for Slow Time II; Mark deMos, 2nd Place Selective Insurance Company Award, $500, and best new Skylands Artist, Sussex County Community Collage Award, $100 for Night Moves; Sean Holzli, 3rd Place Selective Insurance Company Award, $500 for Breeze; Tony Lordi, The Edward Fairbanks Memorial Award, $300 for By the Garden Wall; Wayne Skyler, The Anne H. Hanifan Memorial Award, $200, for Three’s Company; Jack Hornstra, The Anne H. Hanifan Memorial Award, $200 for Plowing Field; Sheila Grodsky, The Sally Francisco Memorial Award, $200, for Mona’s Code; Trevor Hodgson, The George W. Morville Award, $200, for Chicago Chicago; and Winnie O’Dougherty, The David H. Wright Award for Landscape Painting, $100, for Lower Wisner Road. The people’s choice award winning artist, Leeanne Wolverton, will show her award winning photograph Erin go Graugh and approximately 20 others in the Office Gallery, 14 Moran Street, during the month of May. The artists will show their winning works plus others in this Skylands Select exhibit. All works are for sale with a 25 percent commission going towards the work of the Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council.
