Students' art now part of the building STANHOPE — Students in the Spanish III class at Lenape Valley High School have been combining language with culture, having just learned about various Hispanic artists. Spanish teachers Sharon Mullen and Eric Schuman took the lessons a step further and had their students complete their own works of art. Art teacher Sherry Carnegie assisted by teaching the students about mural art and how to paint using a grid. Many of the pieces were painted on ceiling tiles and can now be displayed for years to come in the classrooms ceilings.
