Sparta bookstore celebrates Christmas in July

SPARTA-While it may seem a bit early to celebrate this Winter holiday, Sherry Rossi, manager of Sparta Books, has announced that "Christmas in July" will be celebrated at the store for the entire week of July 25. Just five months from the official holiday, the event will feature books, book related gift items, games, cards, and stationery at post-season (greatly reduced) prices. There will even be a basket of $1 books. "It's a great time to pick up some gifts to store away for that unpredicted gift or to augment other present accumulations. Biographies, cookbooks and travel books are especially welcome gifts," notes Rossi. Sparta Books is located at 41 Theatre Center (Rte. 181) in Sparta.
