Sparta branch manager promoted

SPARTA-SussexBank has promoted a Franklin resident to assistant secretary. Adrienne Bowden also will continue as branch manager of the Sparta office, said Donald L. Kovach, chairman and chief executive officer. Kovach said the Sparta office has experienced significant growth in the 18 months since Bowden became branch manager. "Adrienne is extremely focused on servicing the needs of her customers and has demonstrated strong leadership qualities," said Kovach. "Her promotion is in recognition of her dedication and hard work." Bowden joined SussexBank in 1999 and has served as assistant branch manager of the Franklin office. Her banking experience also includes retail positions with Midlantic Bank. SussexBank is a New Jersey chartered commercial bank, wholly owned by SussexBancorp and headquartered in Franklin. It also operates branch offices in Andover, Augusta, Newton, Montague, Sparta, Vernon and Wantage, Jersey. SussexBancorp is also the parent company of Tri-State Insurance Agency and SussexSettlement Services, both of which are headquartered in Augusta.
