SPARTA — On Saturday May 19 the Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta (JWCS), together with the Sparta Parks and Recreation Department, will be hosting the 37th annual Sparta Day. The event this year will be in a new location, on the grounds of Station Road Park in Sparta, because it is anticipated to be the biggest one yet. It will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Sparta Day is a vendor/craft fair and family fun festival which is also a fundraiser for local charities. The JWCS anticipates over 100 vendors on the main field, live entertainment, a food and beverage area, raffles and a Tricky Tray and Kids’ Country. JWCS is currently seeking sponsors for Kids’ Country, an area that has included inflatable rides, entertainment, and activities for all ages — most of which are free through the generosity of sponsors. As one of the biggest and best-attended events in the community, it is an opportunity to showcase a business. For more information about business sponsorship please contact the club via jwcsparta@gmail.com or 973-300-7309. There are a limited number of vendor booth spaces available. Interested vendors can either download the forms from www.jwcsparta.org or email jwcsparta@gmail.com. Early bird registration discounts are available through March 31. The Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta is celebrating its 46th year of community service in Sparta.
