Sparta women recognized for community service

SPARTA-Two members of the Sparta Woman's Club were honored by Project Self Sufficiency at an afternoon reception held Dec. 2. Nine women from of the Sparta Woman's Club attended the event during which Dot Dedrick and Mary Jeanne Farrelly were presented with the elite Mosaic Award for their volunteering work in benefit of Project Self Sufficiency is the area community. The Sparta Woman's Club is open to women with interest in civic causes. The club is an active member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs.
