"Once Upon a Meadow" quilt on display at Applefest Warwick, N.Y. — Members of the Warwick Valley Quilter’s Guild are planning for their Quilt Show in May 2012 which will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Guild. As in past years, a raffle quilt has been made. It will be on display at Applefest in Warwick on Sunday, Oct. 2. Raffle books for the quilt, called “Once Upon a Meadow,” will be available for purchase at the Quilt Guild’s booth. The quilt was designed by Guild member Bonnie Seufert of West Milford. Members of the guild made the individual squares and borders and Cheryl Winslow, also a Guild member from West Milford, did the machine quilting. Quilt items made by Guild members will be available for sale at the Guild’s booth in Lewis Park. Additional information about the Warwick Valley Quilters Guild can be found on their Web site, www.wvqg.org.
