‘Spirit of Sussex' to put artists, county on exhibit

Newton — The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council, located at 9 and 14 Moran St. in Newton, presents the upcoming art exhibit “Spirit of Sussex.” Artists are encouraged to interpret this theme with art work that represents people, places and things of Sussex County. This month, the Council’s gallery featured artists is Caroline Goldsmith, who specializes in watercolors and will be showing an image of Newton’s SpringHouse Restaurant and Tavern. A wine and cheese opening reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 17. Come to see the art and meet the artists!
