Sussex County Chamber hosts Spring Expo'
Newton - The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce will host “The New Spring Expo” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 24, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Sussex County Technical School on Route 94 in Sparta. The “Expo” is a two-day consumer trade show where shoppers can collect valuable and free information about health care, office services, home products, financial and technology services, recreation and more. In a unique collaboration with Sussex County Technical School and Sussex County Community College, Spring Expo also offers free seminars, which are open to the public and will run throughout the day on Saturday. Seminar topics include: “Fly Tying,” “Fly Fishing,” “Community Anti-Terrorism - What Everyone Should Know About Protecting Your Community From Terrorism,” “The Importance of Motorcycle Safety/Risk Management,” and “Belly Dancing.” Additional topics and schedule will be released at a later date. The event will also offer several opportunities to enter to win prizes valued at $100 or more. Admission and parking are free. Food is available for sale by Sussex Tech students to benefit student activities. A prime rib dinner will be served on Friday night and brunch on Saturday.
