Sussex Tech student wins medal

SPARTA-Brian Walsh, a junior at Sussex County Technical School and a resident of Sussex, won a bronze medal in the SkillsUSA Cabinetmaking Competition. The contest was held on April 19 at the YTTW (Youth Transitions to Work) Carpenters Training Center in Trenton. Working from plans, Brian constructed the prize-winning cabinet from start to finish in less than six hours.
