The circus comes to town

VERNON-The circus came to town last weekend to the delight of area residents young and old. The Alain Zerbini Old Tyme American Circus was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Vernon. The small circus entertained the crowds with performing animals, clowns, jugglers and acrobats. The portion of profits that the Old Tyme Circus shared with the Kiwanis Club will go into a general fund that includes a scholarship fund for a high school student. The Kiwanis Club of Vernon has been in existence for less than two years and has already started a Key Club in the high school and a Builders Club in the middle school, It also sponsors Boy Scout Troop 912.
