The Machine at Newton Theatre
NEWTON The Machine, a band that re-creates the live Pink Floyd experience, will perform at the Newton Theatre on Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29 for balcony seats, $34 for orchestra and $39 for premium. The Newton Theatre is located at 234 Spring Street in Newton. For over 23 years, The Machine has perpetuated Pink Floyds legacy through a multi-dimensional approach, faithfully recreating their timeless music. The Machine has performed at Bonnaroo, Musikfest, and all across Europe. In the last couple of years, the band has been backed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Symphony Orchestra and more. Hailed for their chilling accuracy by Rolling Stone, Spin Magazine praises that The Machine "sound exactly like Pink Floyd," while The Village Voice declares that "The Machine is dead-on." The adoration continues from Bob Ezrin, co-producer of Pink Floyd's seminal album The Wall, "these guys are great!"
