Third annual Civil War Round Table Dinner set for May 15
Sandyston The Colonel Henry Ryerson Civil War Round Table has announced its Third Annual Civil War Round Table Dinner. This year, the festivities will be held at Fratelli’s Restaurant, Route 206 North, Sandyston Township, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15. Enjoy dinner, savor the company of fellow Civil War enthusiasts and listen to renowned guest speaker, author and historian Charles H. Harrison. Harrison is the author of twelve books about education and history. His novel, “No Longer Warriors,” was inspired by an incident that occurred on the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg and recounted the regimental history of the 124th New York Volunteers, from Orange County, N.Y. Dinner ticket donation is $20 members and $25 non-members; advance ticket purchase required.
