Town to host Family Fun Day

Stanhope — On Sunday, July 8, Stanhope will host its annual Family Fun Day, from noon to 4 p.m., in Musconetcong Park. All Stanhope residents, young and old, and their guests, are invited to join their fellow “Stanhopians” for a day of fellowship and fun. There will be free food — hot dogs, soda, popcorn, Italian ices — and games, horseshoes, and entertainment. “Tumbling Turtles DJ” will perform from noon to 4 p.m. “Jinxx the Clown” will perform from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Other entertainment will be announced. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic basket and a lawn chair or blanket, and spend a relaxing afternoon getting re-acquainted with all their neighbors. The event is sponsored by the Stanhope Recreation Commission. Soda is provided by the Stanhope Fire Department. Italian Ice is provided by High Point Condominium Association.
