Tricky tray to support the arts in Jefferson

Oak Ridge — The Jefferson Arts Committee and its sub-committees - The Community Band, The Community Chorus, the Gazebo Committee and the Jefferson Community Players - are hosting a Tricky Tray on Friday, May 11. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and calling will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Township High School Cafeterias, located at 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge. With so many members participating, there will be plenty of trays, special raffles, a 50/50 on-premise raffle, door prizes, refreshments and great fun for everyone. However, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted. The $8 admission ticket sheet will include a door prize ticket and complimentary coffee, tea and baked goods. All additional tricky tray ticket sheets will be $4 each or three for $10. For those coming to the event straight from work, there will be food, soda and bottled water for sale. Advance sale tickets will be offered between 4 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at the Camp Jefferson Community Lodge, 81 Weldon Road, prior to the Community Players’ dinner theater event and then again from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 7 at the Jefferson Township Senior Center, 54 Schoolhouse Road.
