‘Two Artists' exhibit opens Oct. 26

MORRISTOWN-“Two Artists-Two Views,” an exhibit of works by Boonton-based artist Annette Hanna and Oakland-based Peggy Dressel, will be on display at The Community Theatre’s Art Upstairs Gallery from Wednesday, Oct. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 20. Artwork is available for purchase. An opening reception will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5. Hanna is a portrait and landscape artist and teacher, who has exhibited in many solo and group shows nationally and internationally, winning numerous awards for her work. She teaches classes at Morris County Art Association, Somerset Art Association, and conducts workshops nationally and internationally. Dressel is a fine art artist, illustrator and portrait artist who has exhibited and received numerous awards for her paintings in many juried exhibitions and galleries. Her illustrations have appeared in books and magazines published by Prentice-Hall, Marshall Cavendish and others. Her portraits and paintings are represented in over 100 private collections. She is an instructor at the Ramsey Adult School, the Ridgewood Art Institute and the Art Center of Northern N.J. Community Theatre patrons and the general public can view the exhibit before and after theatre performances. Ticket holders will also be able to view the artwork during intermissions.
