‘Two From Galilee' rehearsals underway

Sparta — Rehearsals are underway for this year’s production of “Two From Galilee.” Based on the classic novel by Marjorie Holmes, it is the Christmas story as seen through the eyes of Mary and Joseph. Made possible through the combined efforts of 40 churches in New York and New Jersey, the production is under the direction of Tom Hallet and The Completely Mobile Theatre Company. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2; and 4 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 3, at McNiece Auditorium, Sparta. The production will also be performed at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, 8 p.m. on Friday Dec. 22, and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23 at The Lycian Theater in Sugar Loaf, N.Y.
