Versatile acoustic band McMule at Warwick Winery Feb. 11
Warwick, N.Y. - McMule, an acoustic band that incorporates elements of bluegrass, old-time, folk, funk, blues, jazz and Celtic music, will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery. The band includes Perry Paletta on mandolins and acoustic guitar, John Anderson on acoustic guitar, resonator guitar and banjo, Doug O’Connor on bass guitar, Jim Sterett on harmonicas, and vocalist Joanne Lediger. Based in New York’s Hudson Valley, McMule is currently touring in support of their debut self-titled CD. The quintet utilizes acoustic instruments and vocals to create unique interpretations of traditional acoustic music. The group has appeared at the winery several times, including the “Apple Blossom Bluegrass Festival” last May. They have appeared on television, radio, and at musical events throughout N.Y., N.J. and Conn. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Reservations are suggested.
