Writers' workshop comes to Sussex

    NEWTON-Aspiring and experienced fiction writers can find inspiration and instruction in a one-day fiction writing workshop offered on May 15 by Gotham Writers' Workshop, New York's leading creative writing school, and hosted by the Sussex County Arts Center. Donna Stein, a professional writer from Gotham Writers' Workshop, will offer a mixture of lectures that hit the high-points and writing exercises that allow participants to try their hand at what they've learned. The workshop, the first offered by the school outside of Manhattan, will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Sussex County Arts Center, 9 Moran St., Newton. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants and advance registration is required. Tuition is $125 plus a $25 registration fee.
