Area student named to dean's list at Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. — Emily Liessler, of Sussex, was among those students enrolled in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. Leissler is a senior majoring in art education. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must achieve at least a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the semester. The College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University contains the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music; the School of Art and Design; the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies; the Department of Drama; and the Department of Retail Management and Consumer Studies.
