Area students named to Coastal Carolina University dean's list
Nine students from Sussex County earned dean’s list status for the fall 2005 semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. To qualify for the list, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. Coastal Carolina University is a public, comprehensive liberal arts institution, offering baccalaureate degree programs in 40 major fields of study and 37 undergraduate minors, as well as six master’s degree programs in education, instructional technology, and coastal marine and wetland studies. The nine local students who made the dean’s list are Heather C. Gregory of Hamburg; Robert J. Sabia, Jr., of Highland Lakes; Erin N. Compton of Vernon; Kerry R. La Sala of Greendell; Stephanie Kirchman of Netcong; Jaclyn Scrudato of Newton; Elisha K. Herbes and Carrie L. Tomchik of Sparta; and Jennifer A. Butrymowicz of Stanhope.
