Area students named to dean's list at Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — The following local students were named to the Marist College Dean’s List for the fall semester: Diana P. Link, of Vernon, is a member of the class of 2008, majoring in biology. James M. Marconi, of Landing, is a member of the class of 2009, majoring in communications/journalism. Nicole A. Valerio, of Andover, is a member of the class of 2010, majoring in fashion merchandising. Founded in 1929, Marist is an independent, comprehensive liberal arts college, offering 30 major fields of undergraduate study and 10 graduate degree programs.
