Farmside receives safety award
Wantage - Farmside Landscape & Design was awarded a gold award for overall safety achievement by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) at the Green Industry Conference awards banquet held recently in Orlando, Fla. Farmside was recognized for no loss of time, no injuries and vehicle safety. These newly created awards are part of PLANET’s annual safety recognition awards program and honor those companies with thorough, high-performing safety programs. Criteria for the overall safety achievement awards included evaluation of fleet and employee participation in a company’s safety program, as well as a checklist rating of the program. Three levels of awards bronze, silver, and gold were given based on performance. “We are proud of our staff and the safety training that is taking place,” said Miles Kuperus, owner of Farmside Landscape & Design. “Our staff continues to think safety’ on a daily basis.” Farmside Landscape & Design is a full-service landscape contractor in Sussex County, serving the tri-state area.
