Former local resident new branch manager for Provident

Hopelawn —Eileen De Caro of Sea Girt has joined The Provident Bank as assistant vice president and manager of its Hopelawn branch, located at 101 New Brunswick Ave., Woodbridge Township. She will be responsible for business development, community relations, internal and external sales, staff development, operations and compliance within the branch. Before joining Provident, De Caro had been with Lakeland Bank in Sussex County for 17 years as a branch manager in Andover and Byram. At Lakeland, she was 1988 employee of the year and 2004 top sales producer. De Caro is a graduate of the American Institute of Banking, where she earned three top student awards as well as a board of directors’ award. She was a member of the Sparta Rotary and is former treasurer of Business Networking International. She also served as treasurer of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners. She received the Teal Heart Award in 2004 for outstanding service to that organization. De Caro served as a member of the board of education in Hampton Township for eight years and was PTA president at McKeown School in Hampton. De Caro and her husband, Thomas, have three grown children.
