Kiwanis Club of Sparta holds Officer Installation Dinner

SPARTA - The Kiwanis Club of Sparta, celebrating its 59th year anniversary, conducted an Officer Installation Dinner on Friday evening, Sept. 29, at Fratelli’s Restaurant in Sparta. The Installation was conducted by Pat George, Lt. Governor of New Jersey District, Division #11. The Kiwanis Club officers for 2006-2007 are as follows: President Vic Bertellotti, President Elect Randy Earl, Vice President Phil Giles, Secretary John Kirkowski, Treasurer Bob Seigel, Immediate Past President Betsy Ingersoll. New members of the Board of Directors are Charlie Bertz, Mike Zingaro and Don Gerberg. The program also included the presentation of the following 2005-2006 Awards. Kiwanis Leadership were presented to Phil Giles, Mike Zingaro and Brian Grace. Betsy Ingersoll received the Carrington Swain Fellow, the highest state level Kiwanis award. Phil Meyer became a life members and Barry Higgins and Charlie Bertz became Hixson Fellows. The Past Presidents Plaque was presented to Betsy Ingersoll. Perfect Attendance Awards were earned by 29 members.
