NEW LONDON, Conn. — Jason Braunstein, a member of the class of 2008 at Connecticut College, is spending the summer interning for All Ways Forwarding International, Inc., a freight forwarding company in Elizabeth. Braunstein, a 2004 graduate of Morristown-Beard High School, is the son of Steven and Pam Braunstein of Sparta. Braunstein interns through Connecticut College’s Career Enhancing Life Skills program, which guides students during their four-year academic experience, from initial academic advising and personal development, to securing a funded internship after their junior year and senior-year job search assistance. The intent of the funded internship is to have a transforming impact upon the students’ intellectual, professional and personal development through exposure to work, research or community involvement that he or she may not otherwise encounter through coursework.
