Roger L. Hendrixson Sr. of Hampton Township passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, surrounded by his family at Newton Medical Center. He was 87.
Roger was born in Baltimore to the late Raymond Sr. and Emma (Presser) Hendrixson. He grew up there and lived in Lake Mohawk before settling in Hampton Township.
Roger earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to his retirement, he was a validation engineer for Novartis Pharmaceutical Co. in East Hanover.
Roger loved spending time with his family, collecting model trains, and growing and photographing flowers.
The beloved husband of Linda Hendrixson (nee Chamberlain), Roger also is survived by his sister, Carole Guttmann; his children, Kathy Milici and her husband Santo, Roger L. Hendrixson Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, and Karyn Greenstreet and her husband Alastair; and two grandchildren, Ryan James and Alyssa Marie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
