Bloomsburg University Twenty students from Sussex County were named to the dean’s list at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pa., for the first semester of the 2005-2006 academic year. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must earn a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester. Named to the list were Katelyn Waldron (management) and Thomas Joiner (criminal justice) of Andover; Daniel Benkendorf, (communication studies) and Lisa Braun, (history) of Branchville; Jessica Zschack, (special education) and Meghan Nilan, (history) of Franklin; Jennifer Liddell, (elementary education), Nicole Bond, (elementary education) and Shannon Christiano (special education) of Highland Lakes; Danielle Falconi (special education) and Ryan Hynson (sociology) of Hopatcong; Scott Davis (management) of Lake Hopatcong; Alison Adams (elementary education) and Erin Schollmeyer (marketing) of Newton; Karen Ellsworth (communication studies) of Sparta; Megan Fleming (special education) of Stockholm; Kathleen McPeek (special education) and Lauren Start (early childhood and elementary education) of Sussex; and Dana Zinn (sociology) and Danielle Burke (elementary education) of Vernon. Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
