Pope John grad earns Penn State diploma

Sparta - Sara M. Miller of Sparta was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction, with a major in finance and a minor in international business, from the board of trustees at Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa, on May 14. While at Penn State, Miller served as president and secretary of Kappa Delta Sorority, was awarded the Lynda J. Morris and Partisan awards for service to the university and sorority community, was elected to the National Society for Collegiate Scholars and the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, served as program ambassador for Education Abroad, interned with J. P. Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch and MBNA Bank, and attended the University of Westminster in London, England, during her second semester junior year. In July, she will begin her professional career as a financial analyst for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in NYC. She is the daughter of Sandy and Jeff Miller, and a 2002 graduate of Pope John XXIII Regional High School.
